Tell me now,
Are you happy?
Greener are the meadows
Does the leaves rustle the same?
Do you stil teach how to teach?
and how knowledge won by many a ways?
How are your new friends?
Does any of them evoke my memories?
The door to your house remains closed.
I just knock once and go my way.
Your journeys are long and distant.
How long and whereto I don't know.
You no longer tell me the names of the books you read.
No longer mind my presence,
I feel non existent.
Our precious secrets, are they intact?
or have you strewn them to the wind?
My dearest, how estranged have you become
Why? I know not!
The skeletons of our eternal friendship
rattles in the golden coffin.
