INNOCENT

I’m concerned for you
Friend dearest.
For you to be left alone
In the world so vile
Such innocence that you harbor
May not sustain you much longer.
When the old faces fades
Who shall keep you in company?
Men have duties, women are bonded
you so single shall be left so lonely.
Shy to faces you know not whom
Shy to words you know so well.
I wish I never knew you child
your plight, it makes my heart so frail!

Wow!!! Found your blog when I tried to make my own blog with the same name! Was irritated that somebody else had spelt their name this way. But your poems.... They might or might not be great but they speak so beautifully of lost love....how obvious the pain is. Can so relate to it :\Don't stop writing.
